My Journey to Coaching
I have spent over two decades in lobbying, marketing, branding, and leadership roles. I have also worked 1-2-1 on business strategy with many founder-led business owners and CEO’s.
Over the last five years, leading two teams, I have played a central part in transforming a huge garden centre into a multiple award-winning home and garden concept store. During this time I have been a columnist for Gifts Today magazine and a Judge for the esteemed Gift Association Gift of the Year Awards.
I learned quickly that being a successful leader and building a high-performance team and business was not as simple as having a good idea, a pretty logo, and a desire to succeed (all of the above are useful nevertheless).
More was required - a deeper dive into one’s limiting beliefs, drivers, values and motivations, and demotivators. This is why I completed the IML Level 7 Senior Leader & Executive coaching qualification.
How I Work With You
Values close to my heart are integrity, expansion, freedom, and joy. You will experience these as I honour the confidential nature of the coaching space and encourage you to travel on the coaching journey with me with an open mind and heart. I will provide you with a space free from judgment where you can explore what matters most to you. I will work integrating neuroscience, NLP, belief work, and my own intuition.
My coaching style is warm, approachable, and supportive. The coaching space is for your self-discovery and growth so together we will co-create a space that feels optimal for you. I will work with both the mind and body to help you center and embody your true self, ready for growth and expansion.
I promise to bring good humor and thought-provoking questions to challenge and support you. You can decide the level of challenge you require from me, and what you want to achieve during our time together.
Why I Coach
The other day someone asked me where my work joy comes from. My answer was, empowering others, watching them unfurl into their whole selves. When I say unfurl I don’t just mean in the mind, I am passionate about somatics and the combined power of the mind/body interaction. My aim is that my clients leave our co-creational coaching space taking up more room in the world than they did before.
Why? Because I too have traveled and continue to travel an intricate and rich life journey, full of ups downs, and roundabouts. I understand what it means to adapt and grow. I understand that growth is not always easy, often it is wildly uncomfortable and confronting.
However, I believe in the human capacity to move, seek and grow, both in mind and body. I also believe in the power of connection, support, and space to enable us to discover and expand who we are. I work intuitively with my clients, arriving without assumptions, ready to listen and adapt my work according to their needs. If you are seeking a calm, safe space to talk and reflect on your emerging then let us talk!

The main difference is coaching is future-focused, and counselling looks to the past for clues. People come to coaching because they seek growth in their lives. Coaching provides the space to reflect on their emerging future.
-
Absolutely, by giving yourself the time and space to reflect on your leadership you are not only a great role model but together you and your coach can explore what leadership means to you, and what good, better and best leadership looks like. You will leave coaching with greater self awareness and a keener sense of who you are as a leader and how you want to motivate your team.
-
When selecting a coach, consider their expertise, coaching style, and whether their approach aligns with your goals and values. As well as the above ask yourself what your intuition is telling you. Trust your gut when choosing your coach.
-
Coaching is a collaborative process, and results depend on your commitment, effort, and willingness to take action. A coach can provide guidance and support, but success ultimately comes from your own dedication and hard work. Your coach is your guide back to self.
-
Absolutely! Coaching is not limited to individuals facing challenges. Successful individuals often seek coaching to further enhance their performance, set new goals, and achieve higher levels of success and fulfillment.
